Hearing God
Imagine you are hired to open up an office in Anchorage, Alaska. Your new boss gives you a high-tech looking two-way radio, a policy and procedure manual, and tells you that you will receive instructions once you arrive, and off you go. Upon arrival you hear your boss's voice over the radio, saying, "I will communicate to you through this radio unit. But take note: our competitors, our enemies, also have access to this channel. They will try to impersonate my voice with false messages to thwart our purposes." "Oh no!" you panic, "Then how will I know if it is you or the enemy giving me instructions?"
Your boss's voice comes back over the radio: "Three ways. First, considering the situation, check every message supposedly from me against the policy and procedure manual. Since I wrote it, I'm not likely to ask you to violate it, right? Also, if I am not talking, don't focus in on the noise, pretending that I am. If I am not speaking, let the manual be your guide. Don't let any impersonating voice mislead you, or your own overactive imagination."
"Second, since the Manual does not cover every situation, you will have to get to know my voice. I know, this will take time, and so I am not likely to ask you to do anything radical until we both have some low-risk successes under our belts. Remember, I understand the situation perfectly well, so I'll go slow at first. A time will come when I will be able to tell you to do the wildest things, and you will know it is me. In the short-term, you must be trained through low-risk experience."
"Third, over time, my overall purpose for your work will begin to come into focus. You will begin to see the grand strategy in the policy and procedure manual, and the overall pattern of my true instructions. When this happens, you'll know instantly if what you hear through your unit is 'of me', just your imagination, or enemy misinformation. False instructions will begin to appear silly to you then. So take heart, and get to work."
After reflecting on this a few moments, you hear your boss's voice again on the radio unit. "Take all of the money from petty cash and give it the next person that walks in, no questions asked." Hmmm... You look in the policy and procedure manual, and this is specifically forbidden. Besides, you know your boss wouldn't tell you to do something that risky right off. And also there was an certain "twang" to the voice, an appeal to something different within you, and a plan that was not in the long-term interests of the company. So, even though you are on a hostile channel, you are beginning to have hope that you can indeed do this job.

When will we learn
In today day and age, we find it ever so hard to remain focus in Christ. This world is designed to take your mind off of christ. How does God get his message across? through his children, we are to become vessel of honour so that christ may use use for his will, remember we don't own ourselves we belong to Christ. Some of today's leader have just totally forgot their purpose, to take care of God's sheep. It's like no one wants to listen to christ anymore, I'm not always on the leaders it's the sheep in the congregation that instead of getting up and run away from that type of teaching they just sit there and listen to it, Our God allows this to happen sometimes, if the leaders continues to teach his teaching instead of changing God turns you over to a rebated mind Lord have mercy! If God appointed you to become a preacher he knows if your going to be a soldier or you will eventually fall to temptation. we want to be constituent in Christ, studying making yourself approve. My prayer goes out to all the religious leaders that they examine theirselve against the word including myself, I am taking inventory of my life and to just get rid of things that may be hindering me. My goal in life is Be ye ther efore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect -Matthew 5:48 Let your light so shine that men can see. I challenge anyone that reads this blog to comment below on your love for christ. The adversary has so many weapons in his arsenal, he's already defeated, he just want to make sure he deceives as many people as he can. Do not fall for his tricks, no matter what shape or form they come in, as God tells us to put on the armor of God so that we can withstand the wiles of the devil. I always say when you don't prepare yourself for this spiritual warfare you are vunerable to anything senseless
Stay strong in the lord and I love you

My brother has been writing these blogs for me, as you can see we.ve been absent from blogging. I decided to get back to it, and use whatever medium i can use to share God's word. To tell you a little about myself as you can find in my profile, this in it's self is a testimony worthy to be shared. I was a avid worker, a business owner I wanted nothing more than the best for my three kids and my wife. I also attended church but not the way I should have, I always felt I wanted to do more but didn't know how to go about achieving that.
One Saturday I can recall I started having symptom of a stroke, I didn't know I've never had one before, i was watching my three year old son that day. I started going in and out of conscience all i could think about was my little son, he couldn't fend for himself. seconds turned in minutes, minutes into hours i was battling go in and out of conciseness. I believe in God if this was my time then let it be, boy that would have been a mistake, I didn't have a complete relationship with him. There was one thing i knew, never put your confidence in man he's limited compared to Christ. My wife was home now she insist that we call the ambulance i didn't want to go, but I had three kids that i didn't want to leave fatherless. so away to the hospital I go. they ran all the test, but the stroke symptoms didn't reveal themselves was this God saying that he is in control? So I was sent home, I went straight to bed i can remember reaching out to my wife i didn't have enough strength i guess i wanted to tell her i loved her. That next morning I remember my neighbour coming over to see what had happen? one of my neighbour's wife worked in the hospital she said " Kevin you don't look good" my face was showing signs of stroke that I suffered that night. So it was back to the hospital I went. I couldn't move my right leg, my right arm I really did suffer a stroke. It took a while to come to realization, I accepted it, and went on with physical therapy i had to learn how to walk again speak therapy its like I had to learn how to live all over again. there was no need to get mad at anyone I knew God was trying to get my attention where go I go now? it was me and God now. I accepted God in my life and haven't look back since

Food for thought 01
I had a dream the
other day about some kind of invasion, it’s a bit vague but the
importance of it is hard to forget. I do remember I was afraid and I went
looking for my father. It was dark when I found him in the neighbor’s
house, and I remember him very calmly sitting in a chair. I told him we had the
go and he got up and we went out the door. As we walked across the yard I
spotted a man who then turned around and started towards us. In a panic I
screamed daddy use your powers and it was as if it was out of the movies,
electric bolts shot out from his hands and the man felled down. Then my dad looked
at me and said, you need some power, you need the Holy Ghost, and continued
walking. I awoke from my dream with my heart racing but I got what God
was trying to say. Without power we are always under constant attack from
the devil. It’s relentless at times because he wants to wear you
down and keep you on the run. We run to God, we run to our Pastors, and
indeed they are there to help you, but Jesus said I must go that the Comforter
will come and teach you all things. He told his disciples to tarry in
Jerusalem until they
receive power from on high. He knew that they couldn’t take the
fact that they hung around Him, and witnessed the miracles and teachings and
then have them go out and preach the gospel based on that, nah they needed
power to stand against wickedness in high places. Remember they all ran
that night when the soldiers came to take Jesus away. Not that Jesus was
upset, He already knew His fate, but He knew He would be going back and his
disciples needed something more. As I’ve come to find, this walk is
never easy, there seems to be trouble all around. You’re happy to
escape one situation just to find yourself in another. Many today are
falling beneath the load because they lack the power, or they have compromised
their walk with Christ so drastically, that the devil all together has left
them alone. People we need that power, the Holy Ghost with fire,
it’s hard for those who have it, imagine how hard for those without
it. Food for thought, I hope you’re hungry.
PS. A CAR CAN’T
RUN WITHOUT GASOLINE, NEITHER A CHRISTIAN WITH OUT POWER. SURE YOU HAVE GAS
WHEN IT COMES OFF THE LOT , BUT IT’S UP
TO YOU TO TAKE CARE OF IT WHEN THAT GAS RUNS OUT.
Food for thought 00
What does it
mean to truly forgive someone? I mean we ask for it quite often when we
have wronged someone, but a lot of time the degree of what we’ve done
isn’t so bad. Now there are times when we hurt someone and the
damage is so server that the one that got hurt really couldn’t stand to
be around the one that hurt them. This situation is harder on the one
granting forgiveness, then the one asking it. My mind goes back to Jesus
hanging on that old rugged cross, after all the beating and the mockery. He did
something that we today sometimes find so hard to do. Note the people
were not asking for it, but Jesus took it upon himself to ask God for it for
the people. He said, “Father forgive them for they know not what
they do.” What’s remarkable is that Stephen with the spirit of
Christ asked the same thing for the mob that stoned him. When we walk this
road of Christ, we will encounter all acts of evil against us. It could
be at work, at school, even in your own home, but having the spirit of Christ
within us gives the wiliness to say I forgive you, even if the person asking it
may not have really meant it or never even asked at all. That is way we
must at all times avoid handling these things in the flesh. There are
times when the flesh doesn’t want to forgive because of the pain that it
has felt. And if we are not careful we will not forgive, and the Bible
clearly states we must forgive others, if we want God to forgive us.
Forgiving someone for the pain they caused is very hard to do, but letting the
spirit of Christ work in us will guarantee a victory in Him. Food
for thought, I hope you’re hungry.
Food for thought
There are events
that happen in our lives that are categorized as defining moments. A
moment where something inside you changes be it good or bad, you’re never
the same. It could be the joy of marriage, or the feeling of welcoming
your first child, or the pain of an ending marriage, and a death of a love
one. In our mind we take these trips down memory lane searching out our
pass that shaped and molded us to who we are today. Some can laugh
about it now, while others may still feel pain wanting to let go of all the
memories because of how it makes them feel. But then there are some right
now that is getting a feeling inside, an uncontrollable feeling of gratitude
and grace, love and appreciation. Someone may be even throwing up their
hand in a show of admiration, and praise because they know that the most
defining moment ever to take place in their life was when they had accepted Jesus
Christ as their Lord and Savior. And that person knows when that occurred
they were never the same. It’s just a reminder because we forget
sometimes, when things get tough, and we struggle to carry on. One of
Jesus defining moments was the cross, though it was a tremendous toil, it made
a way possible for you and me. Food for thought, I hope
you’re hungry.

Are you hungry ? 27
I have to admit, I’m not much of a cook, but I’m thankful my wife is because the boys and I would be in trouble. But if I had too, key word here is had, I would have to follow the recipe to the tee, and that’s for anybody trying to make a new dish.
You first have to make sure that you have all the ingredients, because if something is missing it’s not going to turn out the way it supposes to. Now if you have followed everything that the recipe has called for, you will have the dish you desired, but then again sometimes it takes a couple of times to truly get the hang of it, and that my friends is how God works. There is a recipe in following Him, and we have to make sure that we stick to the recipe at all times. The Bible is the directions that we must follow in order to get the results we want, whatever they may be. I can’t add anything on my own and expect the out come to be the same. If I need deliverance, it’s in the book, if I need healing it’s in the book. I need to love my enemies, there a recipe for that, or I need my faith to increase, there is a recipe for that. My marriage is in trouble Lord, it’s in the Book, there’s a recipe for that, and Lord I need to be saved, truly there’s a recipe for that. If we follow the instructions to the letter, we will have success in the things we ask of God. Food for Thought, I hope you’re hungry.
Ps. There is also a recipe on how to be perfect in Christ, it’s there you just have to read it and apply it, and let Him do His work in you completely, and if let Jesus drive 100% all the time, perfection just wont be a word, but a reality in your life.

Are you hungry? 26
The wind is howling fiercely, as the heavens fill the air with the booming sound of thunder. Lightning cracks the sky like a whip, as the rain fall beats upon the house. Yet inside there is little movement as you sit up in your bed. You glance at your significant other as they lay there fast asleep. How are they doing it you wonder, as you jump at the latest boom that to you it seemed to shake the house. So all you can do is pray Lord get me through the night. Finally after awhile the storm passes and your nerves settle so that you finally get some rest. You slowly get up in the morning as your spouse is already up refreshed and ready to go, and then you hear them say, “oh I see we got some rain last night,” and all you can do is shake your head. In life storms come up all the time, the thing about them is how do we go about handling them. There is only one sure way to get through a storm, and that is being anchored in Jesus. Sure the wind my blow, and the thunder boom, but in Christ there is always that peace in the mist of the storm. People may look and stare wondering how on earth are you so calm? You just lost your job, you just lost a love one, or you just received a letter of foreclosure. How are they still standing, and how are they still smiling? Ah I tell you Jesus does nothing half way, and trusting in Him will surely get you through whatever storm you’re in. Remember the disciples were panicking as the ship was caught in the storm, and they fought with all their might to try to stay alive. But as they struggled where was Jesus? He was laying there fast asleep. So they go to wake Him up saying Master save us lest we parish, and we know He said peace be still, and the storm came to a halt. You are powerless in a storm, there is nothing you can do, but trust in the own who control all things and let Him bring you through. Food for thought, I hope you’re hungry.

Are you hungry? 25
If it’s one thing that travels fast, it’s news. As soon as something happens, we’re hitting the phones, because we know something and it’s burning us up in the inside and we’ve just have to get it out. So and so has last their job because they kept laying out of work. I saw someone one the side of the road holding a sign asking for money to feed their family. What happened, the conversation goes, probably blew it doing bad stuff. And the next thing that comes out their mouth is…cause I heard. I wont go any farther than that because the point is simple. It’s so easy to talk about someone, but so hard to pray for someone. We find it so easy to find fault, then to fall on my knees and say God help them please, you know their situation, deliver and set them free. Believe me God saw it long before you did, but just maybe He allowed you to witness it so that you could pray for them, not see it and talk about them. I’ve come to the conclusion that as Christians if we linger back and not walk closely to Christ as we should, our flesh will have us in a whole heap of trouble. And we are going to make some very eye opening mistakes. If by chance you are one to witness such an event, let prayer be the first thing to jump in your spirit, and not running to the phone. Believe me prayer will be the best thing for that person, and you never know someone may have been praying for you. Food for thought, I hope you’re hungry.

are you hungry 24
We all have our favorite team that we root, or pull for. We may even buy their clothing to show everyone that that’s our team. There record doesn’t have to be great, but that would make it look better if it was. Still you’re happy because that game that they should have lost, they won, and you stand tall knowing they won, even if they go and loose the next one. And no matter what happens for the remainder of the season, you will know that each time they lace it up, your team has a chance to win. Now as you know in life we all play for a team. There are only two teams, one team will always be a winner, but on that team you have to follow everything to the letter in order to have success. On the other team you can never be a winner, it only gives the illusion you are winning, but at the end you can never come out on top, because you are allowed to play as you want, and do as you want. Enjoy having fun and not worry about that other team that is bogged down with rules and restrictions. We all enjoy a winner, and the winning team is Team Jesus. He was a winner from day one and will remain a winner always. He never took short cuts and always followed the rules. His path was not easy, but He overcame at the end, and now sits on the right hand of God. The loosing team is Team Satan, and we know his story as well. His fate is sealed and he’s doomed forever, and it’s no way possible for him to ever come a winner. So why are so many playing, and pulling for him. We will never admit to it, but our actions say it all. Every second Team Jesus is bidding folks to come and play for Him. It doesn’t matter how you played up until then, as long as you choose to play for Him now. Food for thought I hope you’re hungry.
